Results

The significant result we expect is the creation of technological support for online tracking environmental parameters, edifiers in flood risk assessment and forecasting, based on an advanced data acquisition system, wireless communications, GIS technologies and integrated analysis software environments (Business Intelligence) that will explore massive real and simulated data using methods probability.

We expect the following significant results:

  • Remote control of the operating condition of the surveillance devices installed in the vicinity of the area at risk of floods
  • Permanent monitoring of the flood phenomenon, by interpreting the data purchased online
  • Making digital maps of an area at risk of chance, with specific thematic layers
  • Development of GIS technology for making hazard maps risk maps
  • Creation of the relational database with informational content necessary in the management of flood risk of the pilot area
  • Elaboration of a set of intervention solutions in crisis situations (through modeling, simulation and evaluation technologies) interactively accessible
  • Creating software tools for risk managers to define alarm and civil protection strategies, assign tasks
  • Leading and coordinating evacuation actions through real-time access facilities for the population to operational information on mobile devices
